A forever home! The current owner built this home 46 years ago and has lovingly maintained it so the next owner can enjoy it as much as the owner and his family has. This cedar-shingled ranch is set back from the road on a level, grassy lot ringed by mature pines and hardwoods, yet has a large open back yard for the ultimate outdoor enjoyment. Inside, rich wood trim and doors, parquet floors, and warm tile give the home a cozy, timeless feel. The open kitchen and dining area was made for gathering, with plenty of cabinet space, a breakfast bar, and easy flow to the rest of the home. Through the French doors, sunlight pours into the morning room and the family room just beyond, the perfect spot for your first cup of coffee, bird watching, a lively get-together, or a quiet evening at home. Sliders off the family room lead out to a generous deck. The living room, home office, full bathroom and the two main level bedrooms round out the first floor level. The lower level adds even more living space with a carpeted room the seller used as a bedroom, freshly painted flex room, full bath and a workshop. For the gardener, the garden room off the garage gives you a place to putter, plant, and create, while the attached two car garage keeps life convenient in every season. A paved driveway, and two storage sheds complete the exterior. The septic system is designed for four bedrooms, so there's room to grow. Close to Falmouth schools, shopping, Portland Trails, and restaurants, this home has been cared for with pride for years, and it shows. Come see it, and picture yourself home. Open House Sunday, October 18, from 11:30 to 1:00.
